The Columbus East Olympians won the morning game of the 2022 IHSAA Regional against heavily-favored Mooresville Pioneers, 4-1 in 8 innings.
The Olympians carried that momentum into the championship game, defeating the New Albany Bull Dogs 3-2, capturing the 2022 4A IHSAA Regional championship.
